Charles Edward Haas
Ever since his mother taught him how to read at the age of three, Charles has been fascinated by books. An overflowing personal collection of several thousand books clearly shows his love for the written word. Although he has tried his hand at a number of different careers, including archery director, psychometrist, and youth counselor, Charles has always dreamed of becoming a writer and bringing others the same pleasure he gets when cracking open a new book. His first book, The Lost Hope of the Hopeless Romantic, was written to provide some solace after a particularly devastating time in his life. His second book, the Book of Ley, a collection of original musings, evolved partially out of the first book. He is currently working on several other writing projects. In 2007, Charles was asked by a close friend, Matthew Mortimer, to help him create a book of student essays. Whose History Is It Anyway? was released in 2008, followed by We Cannot Escape History (2009), Phoenix Flies Through History (2010), and Through the Flames of Time (2011). A compilation book, Remembering 9/11, was created to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. In addition to writing, Charles spends his time guiding the next generation as an educational consultant. He holds degrees in psychology and education and is currently pursuing another graduate degree in business. |
